Your Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented Marketing Manager as maternity cover for up to one year to join our team on a freelance basis in Lisbon, Portugal, with a requirement to be on-site 2-3 days a week. Candidates must already be based in country. 

The primary purpose of this role is to support the delivery of the marketing strategy, across the properties in Portugal with some work in Spain. The candidate will ensure the production and timely delivery of high-quality materials, events, comms and other ad-hoc activities.
The job will require a diverse skill set. Main responsibilities include:
  • Manage execution of marketing strategy as set and approved by Director of Marketing
  • Support the execution of top-quality events for the internal and external communities and be able to run these activations independently
  • Communication and relationship management with tenants, asset teams and stakeholders - be a main point of contact for all parties
  • Support with materials and ideation with Asset Management and Construction teams
  • Work proactively with the community surrounding the asset, by establishing new partnerships and assessing what can be improved in the neighborhood. Develop good relations with current and future providers / collaborators of the asset
  • Ability to write a creative brief for graphics to execute design projects onsite at the assets and manage the process
  • Manage budgets for events and programming
Your Qualifications
  • Degree or relevant education in Marketing, Design, Communications or a related field of study from an accredited university or combination of education and experience to be able to perform the essential functions of the job.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial real estate, retail or hospitality, with a focus on marketing + events 
 Skills:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Portuguese, Spanish is a plus
  • Proactive, creative, collaborative with the ability to work independently with light direction
  • Strong attention to detail with a 'hands on' mentality
  • Talent for and interest in writing content and storytelling
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines; flexibility in changing conditions
  • Flexibility as the work may require an adjusted work schedule, and evening/weekend hours to meet deadlines or attend special events
