The job will require a diverse skill set. The main responsibilities include:
- Support the Managing Director with portfolio initiatives and oversight of the Asset Management team, including direct input on key financial and analytical decisions.
- Leadership of the analyst team in matters related to training, portfolio processes, and analysis. Analysts will retain a direct line to their respective Asset Managers for asset-specific work.
- Development of best practices and processes across the portfolio including but not limited to annual business planning, reforecasting, quarterly reporting, liquidity monitoring, debt reporting.
- Work with Accounting & Finance teams to improve and maintain integration between them and Asset Management, allowing for accurate budget to actual updates, invoicing processes, and cost monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with Creative & Marketing, Retail Leasing, Development & Construction, and other vertically integrated teams to improve processes related to budgeting and communication with Asset Management teams.
- Work closely with the Transactions & Capital Markets team in developing financial models that allow for accurate underwriting and smooth transitions to operational Asset Management teams.
