Your Responsibilities
We are looking for an experience professional to join our team in a new Senior Vice President, Portfolio Analytics role. The candidate should have a deep understanding of asset and portfolio management with extensive skills in financial analysis and cash flow modeling. The role reports directly to the Managing Director and is responsible for overseeing analysis across the European portfolio as well as supporting with the leadership of the pan-European Asset Management team.

The job will require a diverse skill set. The main responsibilities include:
  • Support the Managing Director with portfolio initiatives and oversight of the Asset Management team, including direct input on key financial and analytical decisions.
  • Leadership of the analyst team in matters related to training, portfolio processes, and analysis. Analysts will retain a direct line to their respective Asset Managers for asset-specific work.
  • Development of best practices and processes across the portfolio including but not limited to annual business planning, reforecasting, quarterly reporting, liquidity monitoring, debt reporting.
  • Work with Accounting & Finance teams to improve and maintain integration between them and Asset Management, allowing for accurate budget to actual updates, invoicing processes, and cost monitoring.
  • Collaborate closely with Creative & Marketing, Retail Leasing, Development & Construction, and other vertically integrated teams to improve processes related to budgeting and communication with Asset Management teams. 
  • Work closely with the Transactions & Capital Markets team in developing financial models that allow for accurate underwriting and smooth transitions to operational Asset Management teams.
Your Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or a related field of study from an accredited institution.
  • Work Experience: Ten or more years of experience in institutional real estate management or finance; real estate transactions and/or valuation experience desired.
  • Language Proficiency: Exceptional written and verbal communication in English is required. Dutch or German is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Can seamlessly move between granular financial details and the broader pig picture providing clear interpretation and actionable recommendation; requires strong judgement.
    • Ability to understand complex matters and present them in a simple manner.
    • Advanced real estate and financial analysis skills.
    • Excellent financial modeling skills; familiarity with Argus is a significant plus.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and familiarity with formal investment committee presentations and memos.
    • Strategic asset management and leadership capabilities.
